These funds are restricted by law to three purposes:
- Facility improvements. Maintaining and upgrading the hospital facility our community depends on.
- Medical scholarships. Building the local healthcare workforce of the future.
- Oversight of hospital operations. Ensuring accountable, quality care for District residents.

The District is investing millage funds into a medical scholarship endowment to help local students build careers in healthcare, with a focus on Allied Health pathways and partnerships with area high schools.
